TWA signs contract with ITE Group for African Companies
Trade with Africa (TWA) has successfully signed a contract with ITE Group for sourcing African companies for their Autumn and Spring Fair trade shows.
ITE Group plc is an international organiser of exhibitions and conferences. The Group is well known for its events in emerging markets across a number of industry sectors and is listed on the London Stock Exchange. Today, it organises over 240 trade exhibitions and conferences each year in 18 countries and employs over 1,000 staff in 31 offices worldwide. The company's main focus is business-to-business exhibitions and conferences, therefore TWA will be bringing African companies and their products to the Autumn Fair and the Spring Fair.
The Autumn Fair is the season's number one UK marketplace, providing the UK's most diverse selection of products. Over 1300 Exhibitors across all sectors attend and the event showcases amazing brands, new products, compelling retail insight and endless inspiration. Attracting over 24,000 visitors including independents, multiples and online retailers who visit the show to look for trend-led, fresh and inspirational products and innovations ahead of the busy festive period of Christmas, Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Easter and Spring. Perfectly timed within the trading year, Autumn Fair is the chance to showcase your collections, launch new products, build on old relationships and spark new ones.
Spring Fair on the other hand, is the UK’s most important home & gift marketplace, facilitating connections between retailers, exhibitors and marketers. It offers certainty that only scale can provide. Encompassing 17 carefully edited show sectors, including the co-located Jewellery & Watch, Spring Fair showcases the best products, launches and inspiration that over 2,500 UK and international exhibitors have to offer. It is the platform to get African companies brands exposure in the UK market place meeting with retail buyers that can put their products in some of the biggest (and most selective) stores in the world. Spring Fair attracts over 50,000 visitors across five days. African companies will be in the right place to meet the right contacts for business.
Overall, Trade With Africa Ltd will be working hard at service delivery to be the main agent in facilitating visits and ensuring that African products not only enter the UK market place but grow as well in the UK retail space. Our mission is to work with African companies in each challenge they may face whether it be forming sustainable relationships with partners in the UK, developing brands for the UK market place, strategic consulting or sourcing buyers through our direct database and trade shows TWA will be there in each step of the way to form long lasting relationships for mutual benefit. TWA is also positioned to work with UK government departments like DTI for the exports of UK engineered goods, and the overcoming of bilateral trade challenges in UK public policy.
